Short description
Migrant Images (MIIM) aims to promote the transit of contemporary artistic theory made in France and Germany, towards countries at the periphery of Europe. Authors such as Georges Didi-Huberman, Hans Belting, Horst Bredekamp, Daniel Arasse, Victor Stoichita, Hubert Damisch, Françoise Frontisi-Ducroux, Jacques Rancière and, as an après-coup forerunner, Aby Warburg, who inspires this project.

Description
Migrant Images envisaged the translation of books, short essays and conferences in the partner countries. Also film screenings, the exhibition of artistic work, dance and others may be considered, as mediators between the propositions of the French and German authors and local audiences, clarifying and broadening the propositions of the authors.
The partner countries will share the same structure in the organization of activities, eventually the same templates, develop jointly web activities with the aim of establishing new possibilities for dialogue between cultures and new opportunities for public access to different forms of critical thinking and European artistic creation.

The partnership may be of special interest to institutions from the «peripheries» of Europe, countries such as Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Letonia, Lituania, Iceland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Republic of Serbie, etc.
 
Profile
We are looking for parties with an interest in constemporary art theory, publishing, arranging lectures for athors sucha as Didi- Huberman, Ranciere, Bredekamp, etc.
 
Due to the transdisciplinare nature of the project, publishers, art institutions, universities and the like, are welcome.
 
OTHER
Activities outlined :
1-   the translation of books, short essays (ebooks), conferences, meetings of the authors with their peers, students and artists, as the mentioned authors usually do at home;
2-  the realization of exhibitions, film projections and workshops, in close relation with the authors thinking and contemporary artistic creation;
3-  the realization of a website oriented to the dissemination and the formation of the public, containing the agenda of the project, access to videos of conferences, reviews, notices on the authors, books, essays and partners;
4-  the realization and publication of interviews with the authors and artists, content relevant to the website and the general public.

We welcome partners wishing to develop a relevant number of these activities, or some of them.
