Areas of activity:
Conservatoires:
1. The intercultural exchange.
Concert performances by students (soloists, ensembles or the Youth Orchestras), promoting their national repertoire at the international festivals, in native countries or abroad;
2. Improving skills and cultural knowledge.
Training activities (master classes, workshops, lectures) for young musicians, aiming to build up the necessary skills for performing and understanding of historical backgrounds of rarely performed works of national composers as well as the contemporary repertoire;
3. Academic research in the field of music education.
Joint research projects, participation in international conferences, meetings to indentify best practices and develop new tools for more effective use of cultural heritage in music education programmes (in schools, HEI and in non-formal learning).
Festivals: youth orchestras concerts, concerts by youth ensembles and soloists with a strong emphasis on national cultural heritage, world-premieres;
Master-classes; open rehearsals; cultural programmes for general audiences; audience-building events.
Regarding the upcoming European Year of Cultural Heritage and main objectives of the Project, all activities may be broadly supported by the Government and Corporate Sponsorship.
